A strong state society is needed to represent orthopedic interests with state and national decision-makers. We strongly encourage you to become or remain a sustaining member of the Montana Orthopedic Society to ensure a continued unified organization and voice representing orthopedic surgeons in our state.
I’m honored to serve as the President of the Montana Orthopedic Society. We hold an annual educational meeting, and I would like to invite members of our other surrounding societies to attend. One of the purposes of MOS is to provide an interchange of medical knowledge and connect surgeons across our large and sparsely populated state to collaborate on issues impacting care. Our primary forum for this is the Annual Meeting held at Big Sky Ski Resort, Friday, January 17th– Sunday, January 19th. Our Vice President, Dr. Pat Curry, is organizing a fantastic lineup of speakers for this educational event. If you are interested in speaking or have topics of interest, please let him know. The meeting is organized to provide ample time to engage with your colleagues and enjoy family time in Big Sky. Similarly, I would welcome any announcements about events in your societies to share with our constituents in Montana.
I look forward to welcoming you all to Big Sky this January!
Sincerely,
Karen Perser, M.D.
